See which of the 8 forex majors is strongest and weakest right now — decomposed from 9 liquid pairs over 1-day, 1-week and 1-month windows.
Computed from daily candles of 9 liquid pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCAD, USDCHF, NZDUSD, EURJPY, GBPJPY). Data refreshes with each daily close and is served from a shared cache — figures can lag live ticks by a few hours.
Every day we take the daily-candle returns of 9 liquid forex pairs and decompose them per currency: when a pair rises, its base currency is credited and its quote currency debited; a currency's strength is the average of its signed moves across every pair it appears in. All three windows (1 day / 1 week / 1 month) are computed from the same public data.
The classic way to use it: pair the strongest currency against the weakest — that's where trends tend to be cleanest — and avoid pairs whose two sides are equally strong or weak. Strength is context, not a signal; combine it with your own chart analysis and risk management.
Educational tool — not financial advice. Currency strength describes recent relative moves; it never predicts future direction. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
