How to read the bubble map

Color shows direction

Green means the selected-period price return is positive; red means it is negative. A brighter rim marks a larger absolute move.

Area follows your metric

Choose price move, market capitalization or 24-hour volume. Bubble area is scaled for readability, so diameter is not a direct one-to-one value comparison.

Source and freshness stay visible

Each snapshot comes from one provider only. TraderAI tries independent fallbacks, marks last-good data as stale and never mixes incompatible provider rows silently.

This visualization describes observed market data; it is not a buy or sell signal. Prices and returns can differ between venues, and recently listed assets may lack longer-period history.

Crypto market bubbles FAQ

›How often do the bubbles update?

The page requests a new server snapshot every 60 seconds while open. A 55-second cache deduplicates visitors, and the displayed timestamp is the last successful provider fetch—not the device clock.

›What determines a bubble's size?

Price move is the default, using the absolute return for the selected period. You can switch to market cap or 24-hour volume. Area is compressed to keep small assets readable.

›What happens if a data source fails?

The server tries CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, CoinLore, OKX, Gate, Bybit and Binance in order, without combining rows from different snapshots. A recent last-good snapshot may be shown for up to 10 minutes and is clearly marked stale.
